He was born in 1962 in Çorum-Sungurlu. He is graduated from graphic programme at Gazi Education Faculty in Gazi Üniversity. He worked as a art teacher for 12 years at Malatya and Zonguldak.  In 1995 he investitured in  Art Department of Fatih Education Faculty, Karadeniz Thecnical Üniversity as a lecturer. He has finished his Master Degree in 2000 at Social Science İnstitute in Karadeniz Thecnical Üniversity.    At present he has been working in Art Department, Karadeniz Thecnical Üniversity as a lecturer and a vice-head of department.
    He has attended 10 solo exhibition and 50 mixed and group exhibition so far. He won 5 prices from national competition. Some of his work is  in Private collection in Canada and the others are in Ministery of Culture and Tourism collection now. In addition some of his work are in offical and in private collection.
    He is a member of BRHD (United Painters and Sculptors Association) and GÖRSED (Turkish Visual Arts Education Association). He is a member Black Sea Plastic Arts Association and he is the chairman of the  board of the Black Sea Plastic Arts Association.
